So a lady sees a guy and the guy's heart melts like chocolate in his mouth as he gazes at her. he beholds her beauty and swore to himself that he would never forgive himself if he does not approach her if he does not do everything it takes to have her in his life. She's enjoying the fact that she's gotten his attention, she's happy that he is attracted to her, she praying in her heart that God should direct his impulsive steps to her side, she's craving to have him so badly because he is so tall, dark, handsome.
The thought that he would be her "knight in shining armour" is something to cherish for life. That he would hold her and tell her everything will be alright when the storm of life comes knocking on her door.
Then the creator answered her prayer. The prince charming asked her to be his lover and they kicked it from there. 3 months into their relationship the romance was already over. The fiery fire that tests the strength of love came and my brother hits the road. He left and said he couldn't take it anymore. That the lady did not meet his expectation because she has too many flaws. My sister began to cry and asked herself the general question that many always ask. questions like:
What have I done to deserve something like this? God, what is wrong with me and so on? But the truth is nothing might be wrong with her, she might have tried her best to love him in her own way while the man in question forgot that NO ONE IS FLAWLESS, that everyone has imperfection since the days of Adam and Eve. The only mistake she might have made could be not asking him one of the most important questions of heart when it comes to a relationship, the question that so many people both men and women refuse to have when they're about to commit their lives into a relationship.
DID SHE ASK HIM IF HE WAS EMOTIONALLY READY FOR A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP?
This is where so many things come to play when it comes to having a joy-filled love life. You can't have happiness in your love life if you're not ready to work towards it. Love is not just having feelings or likeness for somebody; LOVE IS WORK. Love transcends attraction.
This is not however particular to gender; it happens to both men and women. Many women are not emotionally ready for a serious relationship just like some men are not. please be sincere with yourselves instead of leading yourselves the wrong path. Don't date somebody when you know you're not ready for it. And make sure you get a SATISFACTORY answer from whoever you're committing your life to. You should know the answer you need before you ask the question because when they give you the answer you'd know from your heart if it's worth banking your life on.
Either you're a man or a woman, it's important that you ask that question before you invest your life in that relationship. Ask your partner what he/she would do when they get bored, what they would do when they find out that you're not a perfect person they might think you are before dating you, or their expectation of you exceeds what you can offer them. A time will come when boredom will set in when what used to attract them to you will no more be their preference or your selling point. And when these happen is when you'd know if you really have a love life or a lust life.
BEING EMOTIONALLY PREPARED IS LIKE WEARING A FIREPROOF. MISUNDERSTANDING IN RELATIONSHIP SOMETIMES IS LIKE FIRE. THE TRUTH IS THE FIRE WILL COME, BUT WHEN IT COMES IT WON'T BURN YOUR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER BECAUSE YOU'RE WEARING FIREPROOF WHICH IS BEING EMOTIONALLY PREPARED AND READY FOR WHAT TO DO TO OVERCOME IT.
When you want to do the right thing, you'll ask the right question.
Warning: The greatest asset you have in life is your lifetime, please don't waste it. Make sure you do your homework before saying yes to a relationship. If that person is not emotionally ready for it, please don't go into it with them.
May God give you all happiness in Life.
God bless you all
